Yearning For Affections

Insomnia hit me recently. I can hardly sleep for more than four hours, not to count on the times I woke at the middle of it, restless. I had been really weak and unhealthy. Fever at first, followed by food poisoning. When my fever finally recedes, what follows is me being nauseous and bloated most of the time. Vomited few times. When I thought the unfortunate series of EOSY finally reach an end, the female monthly period is giving me trouble. I was in such excruciating pain I can hardly sleep or walk around. But I guess I am so good toying around with my mask, amazingly no one at home noticed anything indifferent in me. And I am glad. I am not used to being concerned anymore.

These were the times when I longed for a shoulder to lean on, or a strong arm to pull me through. But I realised I have no one to turn to which can be bothered. I am just so used to handle things myself I no longer know how to lay out my burden. So when occasionally any of my friends would ask me to sleep early or some extra concern, it kinda shocked me. It has been so long since no one would urge me to sleep early. Or ask how am I doing when I am sick. No one I can talk to when I am feeling miserable, nor anyone when I wanna share a piece of good news. Not that I would asked for it myself but these little things used to give me much comfort. I yearned for a cuddle when I am feeling empty and a hold of hand when I walked along the empty streets or a crowded mall.

But perhaps all these are just my childish and foolish thoughts. Everyone deserved to allow themselves to be childish once a while isn't it? Yearning for affections is the nature of human. Everyone wants to be loved and love.

However, there will always comes the time when one has to be back to their rational mind and face the truth. Life is never meant to be easy. There are more I have to face and go through in the future. Obstacles that will hurt me more where I have no one but myself to lick my wounds.

But again, I bear in mind that I am not alone. God is with me. God will never leave me nor forsake me. Let everyone in this world turned their backs to me, I still have God holding on to me. He is my comfort. Cheers~

It's Friday

According to Malaysia's law, every citizen has to renew their identity card after the age of 18 till 25. After giving myself a brand new look, I decided this is the best time to renew my identity card.
The service was not bad, I had just waited for about one and a quarter of hour. Scanned my thumbprints and took a picture. Hola, the procedure was done. All I have to do is wait patiently for one month to get my new identity card. Hope the picture this time is more decent. Haha.
Later I went to get myself a new cooler for my lappie and a new mouse since the old ones are no longer working.

My new mouse. Stylish mouse series. Lol

After that went for dinner at James Foo and Family Western Food at Fettes Park, just beside Fatty Loh Chicken Rice with my parents.

The ceiling is decorated with hanging old chairs, tables and bicycles. Be careful not to get one crashing on your table.

Honey Green Tea

My choice, Hawaiian Chicken

Daddy's Pork Chop

My mum's Grilled Tri-mix

Dinner was indeed satisfying as the portion was large at a very reasonable price. Recommended. But this is a place-your-own-order restaurant. So don't just sit there and expect anyone will come by and take your orders.
One last week at home. Looking forward to spend more quality time with parents and friends before going back to my 'beloved' USM.

Totally Me

As you can read from the title, this entry is all about me. Haha. If you decide to read on, be warned you'll see a lot of me.
This morning I woke up super early as I thought of going to the market since it has been quite some time since I last went to the market. But alas, the rain was pouring so I had to cancel my plan. Then I suddenly thought of viewing back my old pictures. And having looking through the pictures I decided to share some of them. Hehe..

If you can read it, this picture was dated back year 1994. My sis's kindergarten graduation day. I was then 3 years old. I'm the one in red holding a balloon on my lap.

My cousin's wedding day. I was the flower girl at the centre. I was then 6.

My high school days. Gosh... No wonder I looked solemn.

My first semester in matriculation. Having to wear baju kurung. My bestie Zi Yin behind. Haha

See my face? Getting puffy..

Cut my fringe

Before entering USM

My first semester in USM

Second semester during study week

Second semester holiday

This is me now. Haha. New hair colour

Top view. Is my hair getting rare? Should stop the chemical reactions on it. I don't wanna go bald. Lol

Reviewing back myself through these years, I can't help noticing my face getting puffier. Not a good sign. You may think why I rather waste my time on how I look rather than on other beneficial stuff, but which girl don't care how they look? Do me the justification.
So long for now. Thanks for reading such boring entry. Haha.

No Longer Descendant of The Dragon

Yesterday I did something to my face, today I did something to my hair. After long consideration, I decided to dye it. I dyed it with a colour mixture of copper+maroon. And here's the result. Beware as the following consists of my self-captured pictures. But please just focus on the hair. Haha..
Looked more significant under sunlight.

Lighting in the mall ('s ladies)

Lighting in my room. Can't make the difference eh?

My hair colour is like a camouflage. Look different in different place under different lighting. Anyway the result is satisfying. If you all wanna see how my real hair looks, come see me in person. Lol

Mask-ing At Midnight

I had been sleeping late recently. (Blame it on World Cup. Haha) My health has really taken its toll. Frequently sick and my skin is suffering too. So I had decided to give it a little pamper. Please no more pimples pop-up too...
I don't do mask often, in fact I had only done twice before so I really had no idea which is the best brand. Any recommendations?

Green tea mask from Watsons. Was on promotion so I thought no harm trying right?

It smells good...

Not being able to smile and with a mask sticking on the face, can't look any better I suppose. Lol

Japan lost by penalty to Paraguay. No luck. But really good spirit. We Asians are proud indeed.

Tada~ Look more radiant? Haha

Spain is going to play against Portugal in another 50 minutes. Way to go Spain!!

A Little Something of Everything

Two more weeks and my long holidays will come to an end. Its again time to go back to my 'beloved' university, located at the 'tranquillity' of Nibong Tebal.
Thinking back of what I had done this holiday really made me guilty as I resolved to the conclusion I had done nothing except slacking and more slacking. Bummer...
This entry is kind of a random one to share a little bit of something of everything this holiday. Haha.

My Google Chrome Spanish background. My favourite team. Hehe

Fox's fruits flavour sweets

Aren't they colourful?

Comfort food.. Yum!

Ready for school. My new stationaries and document folder with some musical touch. Hehe

Facial mask and dental floss. Ensuring a radiant face and nice smile~

Books that accompanied me this holiday

Finally this letter from my school that makes me having to go back USM at 11th July to attend a talk regarding something claimed to be vital for my future undergoing.

That's all for now. I have better get going and use my time wisely for this last two weeks to go.

Pride and Prejudice

Recently I had the pleasure of reading this book, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
This piece of work was filmed into a movie at 2005 where Keira Knightley played Elizabeth Bennet and Matthew Macfadyen played Mr Darcy. I had yet to watch the movie so the characters in the story are not altered by the images of the actors chosen for the movie.
This is indeed a book I personally enjoyed reading and believe a lot of you would find enjoyment in reading it too. Though the classic English used would requires one more effort to understand it.
Nevertheless its worth reading and makes me wondering when will my Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy appears before me and gives me the felicity as of Elizabeth Bennet. Hehe
