Flour-made easter bunnies and eggs.
Heading off to Berastagi (meaning rice store).
Petrol kiosk in Medan.
We first had lunch at a Chinese restaurant. The food were delicious.
The trilingual menu
Pork steak
Assorted vegetables
Taufu
Fried egg
The weather in Berastagi was chilly and kinda reminded me of Cameron Highlands with all the roadside stalls and strawberry farms. You can read more about Berastagi here.
Dandelion. Alright, I focused on the grass instead. =.=
One can opt to have a horse ride here.
Pups for sales. So cute~
Souvenirs
We headed further to catch a glimpse of the famed Lake Toba.
The picturesque Lake Toba laid before our very eyes. Too bad it was raining then.
After our exhausting road trip, we had a satisfied Chinese dinner.
The local 'satay' with different sauce and ingredients.
The local 'char kuey teow'. Tasted a lot like the Penang ones.
Fish head beehoon.
Night view from the deck of the bar on highest floor of the hotel.
