Penang UNESCO Heritage Day

Congrats to Penang for the recognition by UNESCO as the Heritage City. So its a holiday today!
As usual, holiday means family day as my sis and I are not always around so whenever we are back, we will be treated well. HAHA.
Being in a sushi mood, we went for Japanese Food. Hehe. This is really rare as my daddy don't fancy Japanese food.

See the frog? We went Sakae Sushi. I personally like it better here compared to Sushi King.

Sakae Organic Green Tea

These ginger are spicy sweet. My mum likes it a lot. Can't help herself with more helpings.

Take our own orders with the computer beside each table. Really convenient as there are too many customers and the staffs cannot attend to each table in a short period of time.

Don't know what is this but it tastes good.

Tuna Mayo Inari Sushi

Ebiko Chawanmushi

Katsu Curry Don. My dad just loves curry.

Gyu Don

This is mine. Hehe...

Unagi Kamameshi

My parents

Anymore introduction needed? Haha.

Since today is Penang's Heritage Day, it won't be complete without going to one right? So we went for a visit to Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion. Each entry is RM12 regardless of age. No photographing allowed inside the mansion.

These trishaws are at least a hundred years old.

The second last day being at home only I started to feel that home is indeed a nice place to relax and rest my mind.
Spain and Germany will play tonight. In a dilemma whether to support my favourite team Spain or Germany which is so good in their teamwork. May the best team wins! Getting nervous already. Hehe.

McDonald McValue Lunch

I woke up today craving for fast food. I'm aware its unhealthy.. It was then 12.30pm and McDonald crossed my mind.
It was a long queue over the take away line and having fickling from Fillet-O-Fish to Spicy Chicken McDeluxe, I finally settled for the Coke Contour Glass Meal. Hehe...

I always change the drink to Sprite. Chocolate sundae today since it has been ages I last had chocolate sundae.

What's inside this bag?

Tada~ My Spicy Chicken McDeluxe and large fries. I spread them on the take away bag so no mess no frills. Haha

McDonald's sundae is the best though might be a tad too sweet. Anyway I'm having sweet tooth today.

The portion is way too large. In the end I just managed to finish the burger and the sundae. I usually leave the fries and drink behind.

My contour coke glass. The latest design, kick.

Actually I think I am just being greedy wanting this glass so I opted for the large meal which I failed to finish. Okie, I was wrong. No next time. Hehe

Four Season's Tea House and Restaurant

Today's entry is about food again. Lol. Why is that so? Firstly, my cellphone is finally functioning properly and I manage to upload pictures to my lappie. Secondly, daddy's been treating me super nice and bring me for good food. Hehe..
So what's for dinner tonight? Chinese. I still prefer chinese food best. We went to Four Season's Tea House and Restaurant at Jalan Terengganu.

Every table is entitled to the free Soup-Of-The-Day

Ma Po Bean Curd

Spare Ribs in Red Wine Sauce

Hainamese Spring Roll. The sourish sauce is nice and enhance the flavour of the spring roll.

My daily fruits selection - kiwi. Good for the skin so fellow ladies take more of these. Haha. I specially love the golden kiwi over the green ones.

Kochabi Taiwanese Delight

Dinner yesterday was at Kochabi Taiwanese Delight. This restaurant is located at the corner of the road so most probably you won't miss it.

Pan fried dumplings

My mum chose the deep fried spare ribs set. All the sets come with side vegetables, drink of your choice, piece of fruit and dessert of pudding or cake.

Daddy's spicy noodles set.

I opted for the grilled beef set. The meat is juicy and totally delish. My favourite choice here. Hehe.

Pudding bubble milk tea, yam bubble milk tea and my honey lemon tea

The total damage is RM56.40. No tax included.

Kocha Taiwanese Delight is a nice place for gathering with friends or family even for couples out on a date. The ambience is cosy and comfortable. The food there are nice as well.

Here is one happy customer. Haha

Yearning For Affections

Insomnia hit me recently. I can hardly sleep for more than four hours, not to count on the times I woke at the middle of it, restless. I had been really weak and unhealthy. Fever at first, followed by food poisoning. When my fever finally recedes, what follows is me being nauseous and bloated most of the time. Vomited few times. When I thought the unfortunate series of EOSY finally reach an end, the female monthly period is giving me trouble. I was in such excruciating pain I can hardly sleep or walk around. But I guess I am so good toying around with my mask, amazingly no one at home noticed anything indifferent in me. And I am glad. I am not used to being concerned anymore.

These were the times when I longed for a shoulder to lean on, or a strong arm to pull me through. But I realised I have no one to turn to which can be bothered. I am just so used to handle things myself I no longer know how to lay out my burden. So when occasionally any of my friends would ask me to sleep early or some extra concern, it kinda shocked me. It has been so long since no one would urge me to sleep early. Or ask how am I doing when I am sick. No one I can talk to when I am feeling miserable, nor anyone when I wanna share a piece of good news. Not that I would asked for it myself but these little things used to give me much comfort. I yearned for a cuddle when I am feeling empty and a hold of hand when I walked along the empty streets or a crowded mall.

But perhaps all these are just my childish and foolish thoughts. Everyone deserved to allow themselves to be childish once a while isn't it? Yearning for affections is the nature of human. Everyone wants to be loved and love.

However, there will always comes the time when one has to be back to their rational mind and face the truth. Life is never meant to be easy. There are more I have to face and go through in the future. Obstacles that will hurt me more where I have no one but myself to lick my wounds.

But again, I bear in mind that I am not alone. God is with me. God will never leave me nor forsake me. Let everyone in this world turned their backs to me, I still have God holding on to me. He is my comfort. Cheers~

It's Friday

According to Malaysia's law, every citizen has to renew their identity card after the age of 18 till 25. After giving myself a brand new look, I decided this is the best time to renew my identity card.
The service was not bad, I had just waited for about one and a quarter of hour. Scanned my thumbprints and took a picture. Hola, the procedure was done. All I have to do is wait patiently for one month to get my new identity card. Hope the picture this time is more decent. Haha.
Later I went to get myself a new cooler for my lappie and a new mouse since the old ones are no longer working.

My new mouse. Stylish mouse series. Lol

After that went for dinner at James Foo and Family Western Food at Fettes Park, just beside Fatty Loh Chicken Rice with my parents.

The ceiling is decorated with hanging old chairs, tables and bicycles. Be careful not to get one crashing on your table.

Honey Green Tea

My choice, Hawaiian Chicken

Daddy's Pork Chop

My mum's Grilled Tri-mix

Dinner was indeed satisfying as the portion was large at a very reasonable price. Recommended. But this is a place-your-own-order restaurant. So don't just sit there and expect anyone will come by and take your orders.
One last week at home. Looking forward to spend more quality time with parents and friends before going back to my 'beloved' USM.

Totally Me

As you can read from the title, this entry is all about me. Haha. If you decide to read on, be warned you'll see a lot of me.
This morning I woke up super early as I thought of going to the market since it has been quite some time since I last went to the market. But alas, the rain was pouring so I had to cancel my plan. Then I suddenly thought of viewing back my old pictures. And having looking through the pictures I decided to share some of them. Hehe..

If you can read it, this picture was dated back year 1994. My sis's kindergarten graduation day. I was then 3 years old. I'm the one in red holding a balloon on my lap.

My cousin's wedding day. I was the flower girl at the centre. I was then 6.

My high school days. Gosh... No wonder I looked solemn.

My first semester in matriculation. Having to wear baju kurung. My bestie Zi Yin behind. Haha

See my face? Getting puffy..

Cut my fringe

Before entering USM

My first semester in USM

Second semester during study week

Second semester holiday

This is me now. Haha. New hair colour

Top view. Is my hair getting rare? Should stop the chemical reactions on it. I don't wanna go bald. Lol

Reviewing back myself through these years, I can't help noticing my face getting puffier. Not a good sign. You may think why I rather waste my time on how I look rather than on other beneficial stuff, but which girl don't care how they look? Do me the justification.
So long for now. Thanks for reading such boring entry. Haha.
